AbstractAbout AuthorsReferences
The practical application of SP 291.1325800.2017 « Structures Soil-Cement Reinforced. Design Rules”, in relation to the object on which works on strengthening of the weak base under the foundation plate of the house under construction using the technology of jet cementation of soil are carried out, is considered. Practically two decades, Russian geotechnicians used the jet grouting without any regulatory documents, although hundreds of facilities of varying degrees of complexity and responsibility were built during this period. The emergence of SP 291.1325800.2017 regulating rules of design of soil-cement structures definitely is a very important milestone in the national geotechnical engineering, however, it contained the rules governing the design, production, and, most importantly, the acceptance of works made by this technology that significantly complicate the relationship between the customer and the contractor. The issues of quality control of the performed works according to provisions of this normative document are considered. The discrepancy of the rules contained in the SP 291.1325800.2017 to principles of jet grouting is shown. Possible ways of correction of this normative document are also shown.
