Modern Panel Houses in Nizhny Novgorod

The review of architecture of large-panel houses at the present stage of development of mass urban construction in Nizhny Novgorod is presented. Along with the construction of brick, monolithic-brick, monolithic houses, panel houses of economy class mainly with a full frame of 10 to 17 floors height are erected in the city. They provide fast and high-quality construction of affordable comfortable housing. Higher quality construction distinguishes them from the former panel housing. Currently, a large number of technological possibilities to change the architectural appearance and, above all, the facades of these houses are known. However, the architectural solutions of facades of panel houses of an economy class in Nizhny Novgorod, to a greater extent follow the ideas of minimalism and are distinguished by the simplicity of the volume composition. In residential areas, a comfortable landscaped yard space is created. The review of residential complexes, which are built mainly on the outskirts of the city, is given.
