The provision of housing remains an important social problem for the country population.The industrial base of large-panel housing construction for more than sixty years of existence remains the locomotive of the solution of this problem. Modernization and construction of new house-building enterprises and factories of reinforced concrete products, which occurred in early 2000s, makes it possible on the basis of flexible production technology to identify new tasks of large-panel housing construction - flexibility of planning solutions of panel houses, increasing the reliability and survivability of buildings under construction, reducing the cost of housing. On the basis of the analysis of existing systems of construction of large-panel, monolithic, and frame multi-apartment houses the article proposes a new type of the house – a panel-monolithic example of the house which according to the author should become the basis for modernization of the country housing stock and participate in the implementation of the strategy aimed at achieving the volume of housing construction in the Russian Federation equal to 120 million m2 by 2024.
