The experience in works on the arrangement of a deep pit next to the existing building, which received significant additional settlements and damages to bearing structures in the process of vibropiling is presented. The graphs of dependences of the settlement development for the period of construction are shown. The actual values of deformation and strength characteristics of soils after technological influences are determined. The weighted average modulus of soil deformation within the compression thickness is determined by inverse recalculation with due regard for the measured actual additional settlement. The method of evaluation of technological settlements of the building in restructured thixotropic watersaturated soils is shown. The analysis of the reasons for the development of base precipitations of foundations of neighboring buildings is made. The results of analytical and numerical calculations are confirmed by the materials of additional engineering-geological surveys.
